How OM Works

OM, like many mission agencies, works on a 'fully supported' model - i.e. as a missionary worker you sign up to volunteer and raise your own 'salary' as opposed to receive one from the organisation. It means all funds coming into OM goes directly on projects helping the most needy.

We do not receive housing, an allowance, money for travel or expenses. We need to raise the full amount ourselves - approx £2200/month - which includes paying South African tax, admin fees and insurance costs. We live on approx £1500/month.
